Jessica L. LaPlanteARNP, MSN
Jessie is an Integrative Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing through Washington State University and she has been certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2012. She completed a certification program through Functional Medicine University in 2017 and she is currently working on a Fellowship through the Medical Metabolic Institute.
Jessie enjoys getting to know her patients and listening to their unique health care needs. She utilizes conventional and alternative approaches to create the most comprehensive treatment plan for her patients. Utilizing functional medicine, she strives to identify and treat the root cause of each problem, rather than simply mask the symptoms. She believes that preventative care and wellness promotion is the most important part of her role as an integrative nurse practitioner. Her primary areas of interest include treatment of hormone and thyroid imbalances, autoimmune and inflammatory conditions and gastrointestinal issues.
Jessie is a North Idaho native. She graduated from Lakeland High School in Rathdrum and played collegiate softball at Spokane Falls and Whitworth University. She enjoys spending her time outdoors with her husband, friends and family. Her interests include triathlons and races (Ironman CDA 2014 and 2015 finisher), snowboarding, waterskiing, softball, disc golf, hiking and camping. She also loves international travel, as well as medical volunteering abroad.
